During the semester we students did a lot of peer reviews, which is essential for a better understanding of how your work can improve. Not just receiving feedback is good but also giving it, since I was able to learn and get ideas from other students. At the beginning of the semester, doing the peer reviews were extremely hard for me, since I am not good to criticize other people works. Sometimes I feel that I am being rude or not specific enough on my comments. However, after doing so many peer reviews I am now able to give good feedback and don’t be so attached about thinking that I am rude, since I am trying to make the reader understand my argument. When I was peer reviewed, it definitely helped to see bigger issues on my topic and also tips that would help me to be more specific on my topic. Another positive side of doing peer reviews is that you can learn with others mistakes, and sometimes you may have done the same mistake. An example of this happened while I was reading a classmate work, and I realized that I did the same mistake as him. That was very helpful since I could help him with his own work and also change my work.
